This is a direct factory replacement of the dough hook for the KitchenAid tilt head mixers. There are many aftermarket hookson the market and they have been found to be of poor quality. We have tested every paddle out there and these are the best available.
Many of the off brands contact the sides of the bowl during use causing them to wear/chip quickly.
