How to package up your mixer like a pro!

Here's a quick How-To on getting your KitchenAid mixer packaged up and ready to ship!

We are accepting mixers shipped in for repairs, re-greasing, tune-ups, and upgrades! So if yours is needing some work and you don't feel like taking it on yourself, we've got you covered.

Here’s a quick breakdown of how our service works!

Getting a Shipping Label

  • Purchase a shipping label, package your mixer and ship it our way!

  • We offer discounted shipping labels! Follow the link above.

    • Once the label is purchased, we will generate it on our end and email it to you! This may take one to two business days.

    • THE LABEL IS ONLY VALID FOR 30 DAYS, AFTER 30 DAYS NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.

    • Please include your contact information with the mixer by printing out the shipping form (linked above).

Once your Mixer Arrives

  • Once we receive your mixer, we will perform an inspection, disassembly, degrease, regrease, reassembly and tuning and repair as necessary.

  • If parts need to be replaced on your unit, the price of service will go up from the base $125.00 fee (parts are typically $15-$25 each, depending on the part). Certain parts cost more than $25 to acquire and will be priced accordingly.

  • If your machine has several damaged gears, electrical or mechanical components, or a motor/field assembly issue your machine will fall into the complete rebuild category with a price of $349.99 for tilt head/K5SS and 379.99 for professional bowl raise units.

  • Commercial Mixers such as Hobart N50 Units start at an initial service/inspection fee of $500.00. If parts are necessary, the cost increases accordingly.

Getting Your Mixer Back to You

  • Once the mixer is finished and ready to ship back, we will send you an invoice to the email that you provided on the customer form.

  • The invoice will be sent via QuickBooks.

    • You can pay using a credit/debit card, bank transfer, Apple Pay, or PayPal

  • As soon as the invoice is paid the mixer will be shipped back! We ship every Wednesday and Friday.

  • Once we have completed the service on your mixer, if we have not received payment after 60 days, we reserve the right to sell your machine to recover our cost in labor, parts and service.

When purchasing a label outside of the Mr. Mixer Store, rates will varying depending on where you live. We have seen labels as high as $125 depending on weight and location. To help save our customers on shipping fees we offer $50 flat fee shipping labels (available in our store via the shipping label tab) or at the top of this page.

Make sure to include your contact information via the shipping form in the box with the mixer (name, email, phone, return address)!! This helps us make sure we know who to reach out to when the mixer comes in and if there are any updates we need to send and allows us to have the proper info to invoice you upon completion.

Please make sure that your mixer is packaged properly! Mr. Mixer is not responsible for any damages that occur in transit to the shop. Nearly all damage can be prevented with proper packaging!

Turn Around Times and Special Requests

Once the mixer arrives at the shop, it will enter our queue. If there are any special requests or other important information regarding your mixer, please include it on the customer form sent in with your mixer! If you are curious whether your machine has arrived, send us an email for confirmation.

No guarantees are made as to turnaround times. Generally, it is 3-7 weeks depending on the season. Holidays are very busy, so it’s best to plan your repair well in advance.
