Metal Speed Control Push Rod

Around 2018, KitchenAid removed the metal push rod and replaced it with a plastic version. This can become problematic as the plastic versions fail. We have noticed that because of where they are positioned in the machine, it leaves them susceptible to heat exposure resulting in melting of the plastic. This renders the machine useless as the speeds no longer engage.

This metal rod solves all issues! We noticed this problem and opted to manufacture it so as to combat this tricky problem. Comes with spring (pictured).
